St. Michael's School Drama 2006

Ladies and gentlemen, as you may have already known, St. Michael's Institution is full of rich traditions, among them is the annual school drama. Throughout the years, SMI has produced not less than 45 plays, including dramas such as The Sound of Music, Flower Drum Song, The Wizard of Oz, The Desert Song, The King and I, The Poet of Ispaha, Mulan (Disney), West Side Story and many more. This tradition first started in 1955 and the late Brother Ultan Paul was the first director of the drama The Poet of Ispaha. Since then, the school has seen many more productions.

The school record of producing forty over drama productions can hardly be challenged by any other school in the country. Even in the world, you could mention Malaysia's St. Michael's Institution, and the school drama may be synonymous to the name of the school.

As usual, this year would see a new drama to be shown at the end of August. This year, the school has chosen to stage Hunchback of Notre Dame, another Disney production.

I'm merely helping the school to do some advertisement. To those who have not watched the Disney cartoon Hunchback of Notre Dame (such as me), you might want to enjoy this preview:
