OK...

Well, today is the school's Teachers' Day celebration! HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY to all teachers out there.

I'm feeling much better now, after expressing my thoughts about my family. Life, indeed, is not a bed of beautiful roses. These roses have thorns, waiting to prick you whenever they have the chance. In order to remove the thorns, you'll have to cut them. But where to get the snipper (figurative)?

I noticed that my life is slightly turned upside-down. I found it quite difficult to concentrate on studies alone. I suppose that accounts into why I'm not doing so well this mid-year (perhaps it's also because of my driving lessons). I'm not surprised, nevertheless. I've got what I deserved. There are more important things to think of besides studies. After all, studies is not everything. To me, happiness is.

Anyway, I'll be sitting for my car driving test on the 6th of June. Whew! What perfect timing. To actually have the test during the holidays! I hope I pass. My instructor said that I have an 80% chance of passing the test....if the tester is not what he called a "Dai Bak Sha" (Cantonese for "Big White Shark"). Nevertheless, he told me that if I just drive the way I drove on the road, looking at the rear mirror when I'm stopping and not crossing the red lights and all, there's no apparent reason for that "Dai Bak Sha" to fail me, too. Well, I just hope that is true. He told me to eat a sweet during the test and just play it cool.

It is hard to get to know a reliable friend. As the saying goes, whenever you're happy, you're surrounded by them, but when you're otherwise, you can't find even one. Nevertheless, true friends do not isolate friends in trouble. At least I know I have someone who can listen.

OK, that's all for now.
