It's a small world

OK, before I begin this blog entry, allow me to release my feelings first.

To begin with, I felt a bit offended the moment I came online. Something unexpected happened and I was quite unaware that the trouble brewed up because of somebody's fault. Now, I feel bad because no amount of words from me could correct the problem, unless the person who caused the problem do something. It's odd that I should feel awkward about it. Perhaps it is because the trouble was caused in my territory. What is the trouble, you say? Sorry, I deny to comment any further.

Anyway, to the main point now. I forgot to mention that on last Saturday, after the ASEAN Pre-U Scholarship selection tests, I went to my uncle's place in Setapak. There I stayed for a night. That evening after I reached Setapak, my uncle and his family brought us to the outskirts in a village nearby for a seafood dinner. (The food was good!) There, I met Jonathan Chew! To be honest, I never anticipated that I could meet anyone I know from Ipoh, not especially Michaelians! The first reaction from my whole table was, "What a small world!" It was a surprise as that place was an unlikely area to be able to bump into friends.

Then, this afternoon, I went to Bercham village for lunch with my father it was equaly unlikely to meet any close acquaintances. It so happened that I met Terence Yip, and we had a chat for about five minutes before I sat down and had my lunch. Really, I'm meeting more and more people almost every now and then!

So, what am I going to do later? Well, I'm going to do some reading. I've just finished the book "Anne Frank: The Diary of a Girl." I think I'll look out for more books; I'll keep my eyes skinned for any book fairs, especially those by MPH Bookstores. I quite like the books in MPH and I love the environment in MPH, quiet and not too bright nor too dark. MPH is where you can purchase good English reading materials, but if you want Chinese books or if you want to get revision books, Popular Bookstores would be ideal. I must note, however, that I find Popular not so conducive for leisure reading.
