A Hectic Day in the Life of a Student
If I had been telling you that my life is relaxing now, it would be a lie. Had I told you that life in university is like a breeze, it would be a lie, too.
With assignments to catch up with, presentations to complete and tests to attend, it is no wonder now that I could hardly catch up with my blogging. Of course, studies must come first so most of my time is now devoted to doing my work (need I hardly say that I still have a lab report that I have yet to finish?).
I tried to upload the pictures that I have taken during the PERMATA Camp in Port Dickson. With such a poor Internet connection in campus, being able to upload 4 out of 10 pictures is considered marvellous. I am still trying to upload five more pictures and only by then will I post them up here in the blog.
Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays are generally the days where freedom lies for a student like me, for my timetable is almost empty except for two or three lectures, provided that there are no lecture replacements. Mondays and Tuesdays are killer days where my day would start from 10.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. and 8.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. respectively. Of course, there are breaks in between two lectures or one tutorial slot, which is only for an hour. By the time I return to my room at 7.15 p.m. I wish for nothing more than just dinner and a good rest for the whole night, refusing to do much revision.
Previously, I had been making frequent return trips back home but it seems to me that now, going home is definitely out of the question.
I've been rather lucky. I've just mentioned that I was trying to upload five images into Photobucket; four out of give turned out nicely. The other picture was truncated in the middle. Never mind, I shall attempt to upload it again.
I have just read a blog entry by Timothy Wong which I find mighty interesting to the point that I couldn't help putting up a comment. However, at the end of the day, all of us would still have to realise that life must still go on, no matter how hard it can be. Though it may be rather a sensitive issue that he had highlighted on, yet this is what we feel now. Somehow, while replying to his post, this quote kept striking in my mind:
"This is a case where we seek but we do not find, we ask but we do not get; one door closes but the other opens not."Labels: Henry Yew
