Lucky to be able to blog

I went home to spend my weekend but I didn't blog at home. When I returned, I immediately thought about blogging and felt fortunate that I could actually make an entry. I don't always get that chance, you know?

OK, it's getting very late, so I'll make this entry shorter. On Saturday, Gary and I went down to Ipoh to stay overnight at my house. Ivan couldn't follow simply because he has co-curricular activities on Sunday morning (oh poor him!) whereas Jared, Gary and I have co-curricular activities on Saturday evening, so we were able to leave UTP after the activities. Gary and I left on a public bus where my mother fetched us home later whereas Jared's parents fetched him home later.

This time, I went home to get my TrendMicro PC-Cillin Internet Security 2005 that I purchased two years ago. I plan to upgrade it to the 2006 version of Internet Security soon, if my cousin couldn't get me a McAfee product soon enough. Either way would cost me money, but I'm more comfortable with TrendMicro. TrendMicro provides tip-top security but the updates are a bit of a hassle if you do not have broadband Internet, and the main problem is that we do not have Internet speeds that are comparable to broadband at all! I doubt if it is as fast as a dial-up connection. Nevertheless, I'm hoping that the ITMS (Information Technology and Multimedia Services) department will allow students to enrol for their own broadband, then it will make my life much easier, because updating the antivirus program for TrendMicro is a long and slow process!

I think that's enough for now, so I'll pen off...
